[소식] 주한미군, TRICARE 및 Int'l SOS 실무단 방문

  주한미군 보험회사인 TRICARE, 국제적 의료지원 서비스 기업인 International SOS실무단 및 오산 주둔 주한미군이 지난 14일(수) 오후 2시에 한림대학교동탄성심병원을 방문했다. 이번 방문은 지난 3월 19일 International SOS와의 협약체결 이후 국제 진료의뢰체계 구축을 포함한 실무논의를 위한 것으로, International SOS 켈리 하라 COO(Chief Operating Officer), TRICARE 존 로테커 아시아지역 본부장, 그리고 오산 주한미군 레이 스완슨 대령 등 관계자 총 13명이 방문했다. 이날 모임에는 장봉림 부의료원장, 장호근 병원장, 윤희성 경영전략국장을 비롯한 병원 관계자 15명이 참석했으며 장호근 병원장의 환영사를 시작으로 의료원 및 병원 소개 프리젠테이션 시간을 가졌다. 또한 근골격센터 신재혁 교수가 TRICARE 진료협약 경과를 보고하고 진료의뢰체계에 관한 구체적인 가이드라인 마련 및 향후 양측간 상호 협력강화를 위한 실무협의를 진행했다. 이후 방문단 일행은 응급의료센터, 병동, 수술실, 중환자실 등 병원 주요 의료시설을 둘러보고 특히 Heliport에 직접 올라가 향후 헬리콥터로 이동시 동선을 확인하는 등 병원의 최신 장비 및 운영시스템에 큰 관심을 보였다.
  
  [Hospital visit by USFK, TRICARE & Int’l SOS]
  TRICARE, Int’l SOS & Osan based USFK officials visited our hospital at 14:00 on 8/14. This visit was for discussion to establish the international referral system after the medical treatment agreement with Int’l SOS which was made on last 3/19. There were 13 people who visited our hospital, the event was commenced with the welcome speech by Dr. Hogeun Jang who is chief director of our hospital, and then Dr. Jaehyeok Shin briefly reported the progress of TRICARE Medical Treatment Agreement. We had meaningful time for working-group meeting which can help to prepare the specific guidelines and to strengthen bilateral cooperation. After the discussion, the group had a hospital tour to look around the main hospital fields such as emergency department, VIP wards, operating room and intensive care units, and they also checked the Heliport to inspect the movement in case of Helicopter transfer afterwards. The official group showed the great interest in the newest hospital equipment and management system.
